In September this year, we warmly welcomed a client delegation from South Africa. This client operates livestock farming and forage processing businesses locally and plans to expand their silage production capacity. They sought silage machinery with stable performance, high durability, and suitability for the African environment.

After learning that our products have been exported to Africa multiple times, the client proactively requested a factory visit to gain a comprehensive understanding of our equipment performance and production capabilities.

Upon arrival, we arranged a company presentation and technical exchange meeting for the client, accompanied by professional engineers throughout the tour. The client expressed high expectations for our large-scale production capacity and rigorous manufacturing processes.

In-depth tour of silage baler production workshop

First, we guided the client into the silage bale wrapping machine assembly workshop. Engineers demonstrated the entire process: pickup, feeding, compaction molding, and automatic wrapping. The client paid particular attention to the following features:

  • Compact and stable machine structure, suitable for South African pasture terrain.
  • Uniform wrapping with excellent sealing ensures high-quality silage.
  • Maintenance-friendly design facilitates operation by local ranch personnel.

The client meticulously inspected critical components like chains, bearings, and rotating blades, praising the material selection and welding techniques throughout the machine.

Focused examination of forage choppers & hydraulic balers

Next, we proceeded to the forage chopper production area. The engineer provided detailed explanations regarding its suitable feedstocks, blade configurations, power solutions, and its versatility for processing corn stalks, forage grasses, sugarcane leaves, and other feed materials in South Africa.

In the silage hydraulic baler workshop, the client focused on parameters such as compression density, cylinder stability, and finished bale dimensions. We demonstrated the equipment’s compaction performance and explained how it helps small and medium-sized farms reduce transportation costs and storage space.

The customer affirmed that both machines perfectly suit their expanding feed processing silage machinery in South Africa.

Understanding complete silage processing solutions

In the feed machinery exhibition area, we demonstrated the overall structure and operation of the feed mixer-spreader, covering mixing uniformity, spreading efficiency, and daily maintenance procedures.

We also introduced the complete solution covering “silage collection → chopping → baling and wrapping → storage → feeding,” helping clients understand how multiple machines work together to enhance ranch efficiency.

The client expressed great satisfaction with our ability to provide integrated solutions ranging from individual silage machinery to complete systems.

Client feedback and future cooperation intentions

Following the silage machinery factory tour, the South African client stated:

  • Our equipment is reliable and suited to local climate conditions.
  • The factory is large-scale with rigorous processes and a robust quality system.
  • The engineers are professional, provided clear explanations, and instilled confidence in the equipment.

The client eagerly anticipates further collaboration, planning to pilot one silage system first. Following validation, they intend to expand procurement scale.
