The customer purchasing this straw crusher picker round baler machine is a medium-sized agricultural and livestock enterprise based in Zimbabwe, primarily engaged in cattle and sheep farming, while also operating its own corn cultivation base.

During local livestock development, the client consistently faced challenges including the seasonal nature of green fodder, low efficiency in manual collection, and unstable feed utilization rates.

To improve cattle and sheep feeding structures and enhance straw resource utilization, the client planned to establish a complete silage operation workflow from corn stalk harvesting to feed processing.

Solution and equipment configuration

  • Based on the client’s actual operational needs, they ultimately selected a straw cutter and pickup baler. This equipment handles field collection, shredding, and baling of corn silage straw.
  • A feed mixer was also procured to uniformly blend silage with concentrate feed for daily cattle and sheep feeding.

The two machines work in tandem to fulfill the customer’s integrated “harvest-storage-mixing-feeding” operational requirements.

Shipping of straw crusher picker round baler

Following confirmation of the configuration plan, both parties successfully finalized the order agreement. We conducted comprehensive testing and commissioning of the equipment based on the customer’s operational environment. Critical components were reinforced with protective packaging to ensure suitability for long-distance transport.

Currently, the straw shredder-pickup-baling machine and feed mixer have been loaded and shipped to Zimbabwe, where they will be progressively deployed at local farms.

The client indicated that upon arrival, the equipment will significantly enhance corn stover silage efficiency, reduce feed waste, and provide cattle and sheep with a more stable and balanced daily ration supply.
