Seti 3 za Vifungashio vya Bale vya Forage Type-60 Zilizotumwa Somalia
The three 9YDB-60 forage bale wrappers custom-built by our factory for a Somali client have completed production, commissioning, and loading, and have officially been shipped. This batch of equipment will be deployed in local agricultural production to provide efficient mechanized solutions for forage harvesting and storage, as well as the resourceful utilization of crop straw.

Client background and core requirements
The client is a local large-scale livestock farming and agricultural cooperative specializing in cattle and sheep breeding, forage cultivation, and the comprehensive utilization of crop straw.
Livestock farming accounts for a significant portion of Somalia’s agricultural sector, but traditional manual harvesting and storage methods are inefficient. Additional challenges include forage susceptibility to moisture and mold, high storage losses, and low straw utilization rates.
To address these challenges, the client urgently required highly adaptable baling and wrapping equipment capable of rapidly baling and sealing forage and crop straw for storage, thereby extending the material’s shelf life and reducing losses.

Delivery of forage bale wrappers
The three units being shipped are 9YDB-60 baler-wrappers, with core specifications tailored to the client’s actual needs:
- Bale dimensions: Φ600 × 520 mm, suitable for standard forage and straw bale sizes.
- Bale weight: 90–140 kg per bale, meeting requirements for convenient storage and transportation.
- Baling speed: 50–75 bales per hour, efficiently supporting bulk harvesting and storage operations.
- Total machine weight: 630 kg, ensuring stable operation and suitability for field work.
- Power configuration: 7.5 + 0.75 kW, 3-phase electric drive, ensuring sufficient power for the equipment.

Before shipment, we conducted comprehensive performance testing on each silage forage bale wrapper, verified the parts list, and reinforced the packaging with rainproof, shockproof, and impact-resistant materials in accordance with international long-distance shipping requirements. This ensures that all three units arrive at the Somali client’s site intact and undamaged after sea transport.
