King Grass Bale Wrapper & Matching Chaff Cutter Exported to Kenya
We successfully exported one set of TS-55-52 king grass bale wrapper machine and a supporting 9RSZ-6 chaff cutter to Kenya. They were specially designed for processing king grass into high-quality wrapped silage bales.
Customer background & production needs
The Kenyan customer runs a large-scale livestock farm raising cattle and sheep. King grass is his main forage crop, which grows abundantly in rainy seasons but is hard to store in dry periods.
To solve feed shortage issues and reduce labor costs, he purchased a complete set of crushing and baling wrapping equipment to realize automated king grass silage production.

This king grass bale wrapper model TS-55-52 features stable, high-efficiency processing for king grass:
- Total power: 5.5kw + 0.55kw
- Bale dimension: Φ550×520mm, single bale weight 45–100kg
- Output: 50–65 bales per hour, total throughput 5–6 tons/hour
- High bale density: 450–500kg/m³ for better silage preservation
- Fast wrapping: 13s for double-layer film, 19s for three-layer film
The whole machine weighs 456kg with overall size 3380×1370×1300mm, stable and durable for long-time farm work.
Supporting 9RSZ-6 chaff cutter for king grass
The matched chaff cutter pre-cuts raw king grass before baling:
- Power: 15kw + 1.5kw, processing capacity up to 6 tons/h
- 40 cutting blades, 300mm wide feeding tray, throwing distance over 2.3 meters
- Dimension: 3000×900×1050mm, weight: 980kg
It evenly chops thick king grass to improve baling tightness and the silage fermentation effect.
Equipment packaging & loading shipment site
The silage baler wrapper and chaff cutter were wrapped with waterproof and anti-collision film. Small spare parts and tools were packed into separate export cartons.
Both machines were securely fixed inside the shipping container to prevent collision damage during transportation to Kenya. Real loading photos are available for reference.
